Today on the realm many people are feeling ground down, and depleted of energy. Everyone. No one is exempt, except those who have a holistic “body building strategy.” People are also feeling a bit of nano-depression, a small thing that is the result of continued usage of smartphones, which tampers with the serotonin-dopamine system, the “flight controllers” of happiness, satisfaction, and sundry other emotions that make us tame. Then we have the 24/7 deluge with evil, innocent people being mashed realm wide, and a host of other manifest attributes of mental deficiency.
Then the people have the social media BOTS and news readers, YAPPING NON STOP about all manner of “things,” that at their true essence, “DON’T MEAN SH*T.” I mean, from the micro, to the macro. For example, I live in City A on the West Coast. City B is 500 miles away. How does it benefit a person in City A to know that City B has a car accident, school on lockdown, a crime, a fire, or anything? How does that put food on the table? It does not. It does fill the “hard drive,” or mind up with NEGATIVE, meaningless data that has an emotionally draining effect, and over time that data SLOWS PEOPLE DOWN, like a wonky hard drive.
Then there is the personal aspect. Everyone has that person, group or associate that is an absolute “F”ing vampire, literally vacuuming their very “life force” out of them with their childish B.S. I mean, all that’s missing is the fangs and wings. Everyone has had that hard head co-worker, associate, neighbor, or family member that is just “drags the whole thing down,” like a weighted net, and sometimes it becomes overwhelming, but it was, and is, meant to be.
Then there is the people involved in “medicine,” politics, organized religion and similar cults, they bring to the table a whole ‘nother level of kookery that magnifies the aforementioned things by multiples, and this too can be overwhelming, but it was, and is, meant to be.
See, the whole realm is telling most people a lie, and I am here to clear this up. Now, let’s take a pragmatic look at the aforementioned “mill stones,” that have been grinding people down. Maybe things are not what they appear to be. “Understanding is the ability to see things clearly as they are, AND NOT as they present themselves to be.”
How does water move through a pipe to a home? Pressure.
How does a spoken commitment get tested? Fulfilment.
How is a body builders strength built? Resistance.
How does a person earn a Black Belt? Getting beat.
How is a Katana forged? Violently.
Now, how exactly does a person expect to reach the level of a beautiful, tough, flexible and extremely sharp blade if they have not been beat and ground down? How exactly does that happen? It doesn’t, and until it does then the “blade” is brittle, fragile and only a facade. How does one expect to be “hardened and tempered,” without going through the fire? How does that happen?
Everyone is ground down. The thing that separates the “real from the fake” is how we all handle that. Yes, the road is weighty, but if it was easy then it would hold no value. Think about it? In our tradition, both American Indian and Sufi, which hold many of the same principles, “It is all meant.” It is a sign of the individuals “high brightness,” and those aforementioned of “lower lumens,” are drawn to such people, like a moth to a flame, and when they come close they “draw fuel.” In this is the “tempering and hardening” process, “This is what builds strength.” It takes strength to deal with “the realm.” It takes strength to evolve into a better being.
The lesson in this is that all of this is meant. How else can a person’s mettle be validated to The Universe? You know, in the same way that nature “weeds out” certain species over time, it is the same principle with us. Over time, those too weak to go on will fold, and the “grinding down,” will have accomplished its goal. Over time those who carry on will bring to the table a fortitude, a genetic pool of strong DNA that will be a future benefit to humanity. How? By passing that fortitude in the face of adversity on.
Think about it? What if all of humanity, right now, were cowards hiding under their beds. I know a lot are, but I mean ALL OF THE STATES UNITED. What kind of DNA would they be passing on? Weaklings in every way. It is meant for each of us to struggle, however the determining factor is how each of us handles it. Do we fold? Do we have patience? Do we struggle on with GOOD CHARACTER? There are many variables that are going to determine, “who we are.”
It is never going to be easy for people who are not evil doers, and if it is easy for a person to sleep at night, and navigate in this realm, then they have the evil ones at their back. The evil ones leave those alone, “who they already have.” It’s the ones that they don’t have who are the focus. Restlessness is a symptom of “having a soul.” It is the soul, that allows or impedes sleep. This is a esoteric concept not comprehended by most. When the soul [driver] is disturbed the body [vehicle] does get cut fully off.
“If you’re having sleep difficulties, you are not alone. About 50 to 70 million Americans have sleep disorders, and 1 in 3 adults (about 84 million people) do not regularly get the recommended amount of uninterrupted sleep they need to protect their health.”
https://www.sleephealth.org/sleep-health/the-state-of-sleephealth-in-america/
50 to 70 million Americans have some type of sleep disorder.
30% to 40% of adults in the US complain of insomnia symptoms.
30% have short-term insomnia, while 10% have chronic insomnia].
1 in 4 women and 1 in 5 men have insomnia.
Healthy sleep for adults should be around 7 to 9 hours.
However, Americans only get about an average of 6.8 hours of sleep.
32.8% of Americans say they sleep less than 7 hours.
34.9% of insomniacs have a family history of insomnia.
40% of insomniacs also have some form of a psychiatric disorder.
The insomnia rate among healthcare workers increased to 64% from 44.5% during the COVID-19 pandemic.
4% to 6% of the population have hypersomnia (excessive sleep).
2% of the population are chronic long sleepers.
8% of adults use prescription sleep drugs.
60% of people don’t seek help for their sleep problems.
Worldwide prevalence of insomnia varies anywhere from 10% to as high as 60%.

People don’t lose sleep, struggle or get ground down because they are doing evil. A fine example of this in our tradition being a man who “his limbs were never free from sin unless he was asleep.” His every waking hour he was in a state of evil, and he exhausted himself by such. He slept well. Those not doing evil get ground down because they are “striving towards Good.” So know with certitude if you are facing a head wind, and struggling in some manner, then you are doing alright. You are being forged into a better you.

“Ground down” just might be much attributable to LH dominance.
(Among other imbalances.)
“Get out of your head” might mean more try & stop spending so much time in the left hemisphere. Easy to say.
Katana … silly-fun movie distillation still points to a point (& its not that tom cruise can go from dissolute ptsd drunk to samurai in short order). “No mind” isn’t no mind - it’s RH “flow”:

My honey is a fan of the show Deadwood, which used to be on HBO. There is a Chinese character who is in league with another character on the show, and to express their partnership, they used the phrase "hang dai" (this is the best English phonetic approximation I can come up with -dai sounds like "die" to my American ears). In the context of the show, it seems to indicate a close partnership between the two. My honey used to laugh and say that we were "hang dai," i.e. like-minded partners. For Valentine's Day, I would like to give him a gift of engraved cufflinks with Chinese characters that express this; unfortunately, I do not know Chinese. I don't even know if the phrase has any actual meaning in any Chinese dialect, but it has meaning to us, so if anyone can help me, I would be most appreciative :)

From the sound of it, I think it could be the Cantonese phrase for (not Mandarin Chinese pronunciation wise) 兄弟, pronounce like "hayng dai (not the proper romanization of course)" meaning "brothers" in its literal and intimate sense, and to some extend "brethren". The term is made up of 兄(older brother) and 弟(younger brother), so it wouldn't be entirely suitable for expressing this partnership between a woman and a man who are romantically attached to each other. But there's really no harm to it, especially if it has a special meaning between the two of you, why not?
If there's a "older brother, younger brother", then there's got to be a similar term for every gender pairing ya?
兄妹 - Older brother, younger sister.

Brothers (siblings). In arms. And in everything else.
“The Brothers’ War” aka “the civil war.”
All are brothers’ wars, no matter what the relatives call it.
Hang together, you two, to minimize hanging single gallows separately, or multiple gallows, gang gallows, together.
I am reading this at 4 AM after waking 2 hours ago because I cannot sleep, thinking about all sorts of issues, especially related to my family.
Sucks.
